About Our Business
I, Lettie, founder of "Once Upon An Occasion" started my career in the
Customer Service and Wedding Industry almost 20 years ago when I got my first
job managing a Nationwide Woman's Clothing Store. Through the years and with
my growing experience in the retail industry I developed my skills for attention to
detail, organization, time management, delegating, supervising staff and maybe
the best trait of a wedding planner- patience.
As my skills grew and strengthened, I knew I wanted to take them a step further.
So with my strength in organization and communication I moved into the Regional
Office of another Nationwide Woman's Clothing Store where I would be challenged
by organizing semi-annual meetings for all the Managers and District Managers in
a tri-state area. Soon after discovering my passion and enjoyment for planning
such events I moved in the direction of managing a videography business for a
long time friend. This gave me the drive and exposure to different weddings and
events all around Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino and Riverside Counties.
With each wedding and rehearsal I attended my knowledge, skills and emotion for
the day grew.
Over the past 15 years I have also developed professional relationships with
vendors in several categories that are an essential part of someone's special day.
So whether it is a baby shower, birthday party, wedding or any other major life
event, you will know that I strive to make your special day a memorable and stress
